Does anyone know the specs for the optional NiMH batteries supported by the internal charger in the MZ-R37SP? What is the charge rate for this unit? I was surprised to see in the instructions that NiMH was supported, since I think the earlier MZ-R37 was NiCd only. The Sony NiMH part is NH-WMAA

is it possible that you need the japanese version of windows to run the software? Try poking around on the web and seeing if you can download the dlls that only come with the asian windows packages. http://www.japansh.com/hintstips.htm has some stuff listed but I didn't spend a lot of time search
