Howdy all,
anyone know a url (besides minidisc.org) that might have a list of all
the units capable of toc cloning. i wanna play around and try and get some
of my 74 min md's up to 80 min, but have not been able to find my hardware
anywhere listed. anyway here are the units i own. Sharp MD
They should all be 3.6V. The more mAH the better. I think the original
was 1200 or 1300. The 1550 mAH would run the R30 twice as long as the
800 mAH.
mAH BTW, stands for milliAmpereHours.

The higher the mAH the better. Thats how long the battery lasts. A 1500mAH
battery can push 3.6V at 1500mA for one hour. A 800mAH battery can push 3.6v
at 800mA for one hour. They basically go down that way too, eg, a 800mA
(Li-Ion) battery will push 3.6v at 400mA for 2 hours.

searching for a replacement and I'm finding it very confusing.
The battery in my md states 3.6V/1200mAH
The replacements I managed to find states 3.6V/800mAH
or in one case; Replace Sony LIP-12 Li-ion, 3.6

Well, there are some that do optical out, eg the Xitel DG2 (does all
recorders, dg1 only does sony portables) but
I can guarantee that this has been covered before (and
probably to death), so apologies in advance...
I'm looking for a means of getting a TOSlink connector
to a Sony MZR-90 from a Mac. Because of the limited
slots, I'm trying to avoid a solution that takes up a
PCI slot (I already have a SB

Only one ever to have it was MZ-R1, but copyright issues and size issues
meant it was never used again.
