I'm new on the list, so sorry for mentioning an old flamewar-subject.
I'm thinking about buying a portable MD-recorder (my first MD-equipment)
and the Sharp MT-90H and the Sony MZ-R700 look pretty fine, so I need to
make a decision... One hint could be the noise (made by the motors and

Also, is it just me, or does the PCLink cable pictured look remarkably
similar to the new DG-2 available from Xitel? Are they both sourcing some
third party for that cable now?
