it sounds good. But what's with the low output btw?
I've also found the output to be fairly low for headphone use,
though if that prevents loss of sound quality I don't
Same here, been using a Sony 4.5V car power adaptor for 722 for about a
year. It was from an older CD player that came with the car kit. Check to
see if you got one lying around or pick up a cheap one from radio shack they
dont have to be sony or sharp just the same ratings.

Depends upon what you mean by inexpensive. Radio Shack sells a 5 volt
adapter for about $20. The sell all varieties of the actual DC
connector individually, so you're sure
Sony made a combined portable MD w/ AM/FM radio about 4-5 years ago -
MZ-FM40 - it's in the equipment browser @ www.minidisc.org. However it's a
Player, NOT a Recorder, and well and truly pre-MD Long Play.
Other than that, and the new 750, I'm not aware of any MD portables with
tuners at all
Thats them, http://www.icminidisc.com also works. Any idea?

Evidently not. I did a search for it, too, and came up with nothing.
The SKU #, by the way, is 4148489, but I don't believe bestbuy.com
references any of their online items by SKU number.
I bought today the last

Im looking for a personal (walkman) or portable (jamican handbag) style
minidisc system with a built in radio (digital tuning preferable) that can
record of the radio. The Sony 750 cannot do this. Long play/record is also
essential. Does such a product exist in the UK or can you source one?

Heya guys,
It's been a while since I've written here... After getting my beloved
722 working once again (had to change the optical block over from
another old dead unit (MD-15 I think it was))), I've been trying to
personalise it.
I remember writing one of the first howto's on changing the bass
It is a CLI Classic. I am not sure who really made the unit, but that
is the name that is on it.
