I have one of these "fabled" devices (The Elektor kit), and it works fine,
you need to build it yourself (or find someone genorous enuff to do it for
you). Costs about $80 or something like that (i'm from the UK btw). Lights
indicate sampling rate as well, which is particularly useful

I beleive that's in the FAQ, but anyway...
First, your PC Link doesn't add a portable device in a way you expect
it (like Iomega Zip), but it adds "Sound Playback" device so you can
play back music to USB instead of your soundcard.
Second, you can NOT "load" audio in anyway - yo
I really dont believe they got
120dB audio quality measured.
