When a mic says it has a frequency response of 100 - 15000Hz, it means
that the response is approximatly flat accross that region, It will
still record frequencies above and below the stated range. It is just
that the response is lower at those frequencies.

I too looked at this microphone (along with many others). The frequency
response (100-15000Hz) of this model is the reason I decided to look for
another mic. A response beginning at 100Hz is not what I would use if I ever
