MD: MP3 to MD?

Is there anyone who know where and what affordable equipments to get in USA
to record MP1 files from a laptop to a Sony MZ-R50? I have been trying out
different methods, such as directly recording via the laptop headphone
output but all I get is the music accompanied with low noises in the
background. Pls advise. Thanks.
