Hm, the "200 or below" sort of narrows it down a lot, but I'd try the Sony MZR-700. I got it 4 months ago, it's a brilliant piece of machinery. Rugged, compact, records MDLP and a really really long battery life. Also, it takes "AA" batteries, without an extra adapter, which is nice for traveling
