I finally found a source for the digital audio cables to connect from the DA port on the back of CD/DVD drives to the DA input on the digital sound cards. Audience Digital Products (http://www.audiencedp.com) sells a full line of Hoontech digital sound cards (as well as other brands and items). Anyhow, while searching out Hoontech's web site, I found that they sold these cables...but, since they're in Korea, I figured getting them to the states would be more hassle and cost than they were worth. Noting that Audience Digital sells the cards, I contacted them to see if they also dealt with the cables. Sure enough, they do, and they're about $3 apiece. The problem is that they have a $4 service/handling fee for orders under $10...so, I rodered 3,for $9, and then they're 1st class mailing them to me for another $1.25. I've already got the Guillemot Maxi Sound Fortissimo card on order should be here the beginning of next week, and if this works out well, I might get another card for one of my other systems. Either way, I'll have the cables if I need them.
