my guess is you are using a 220 volt to 110 volt transformer. That
makes it 10 volts or 10% too high for the recorder. I think you may

I live in Israel and so I changed to an 220V transformer. When recording
with the transformer plugged in I the recorder either skips or stops
playing showing the message "MEM OVER" .
without the recorder plugged in it records fine.
