I just joined the list, and this was probably covered before. I erased 3 eight minute stereo tracks on a Sony MZ-R37 portable, resulting in a blank disc. I've not recorded anything on it since. I'm also getting a JVC XU-301 deck soon. I'd appreciate any help you could give me on how to undelete

Hi Tony, I just know you're going to get a dozen+ replies on this but briefly, cloning [the UTOC- User Table of Contents] is a means of copying the track information from one MD to another. From now on I'll drop the [U]TOC. It's main use is in recovering deleted tracks, when a track is erased

I think that this Kenwood is the clone of the Sharp 702 although I can't be sure. If it is, you can use the methods described by Edgar, but I suspect that this may also be too late as you will no doubt have switched the unit off by now. An alternative would be to find someone with a deck that c
