I'm agreeable to the reliability of the Sony portables as my MZR-30 lasted 3 years and the Li-Ion battery is still going strong... The only reason why I sold it to a friend was because i 'upgraded' to a Sharp 831. A word of caution though, the reliability of Sony does not extend to their accessories... the ear buds are fine, but their headphone design does not ensure durability. I owed a set of EGGO (which i purchased for about 100 USD)it worked fine for less than 8 months before it broke down. I sent it to Sony for servicing and they quoted me 80 USD, which was for getting the headband changed. (does that means that the 'phones are US$10 each?) ;) Anyway, I'm eyeing a pair of Sennheiser (which comes with 3 year warranty that Sony does not have). :) Max ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://home.netscape.com/webmail ----------------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
