Since everyone is on the subject of batteries. I have a Sony portable which can use either the NH-14WN or the NH-9WN rechargeable gumpack battery. Unfortunately, I can't find the external charger which makes using the unit a little difficult. Minidisco sells the replacement for 50 USD but I

You all have to think about a separate NiMH charger. It's not so expensive, and since the MZR 70 is using single AA it would be good to think about some kind of Power bank charger. The system is so called "Always Plug In", so you don't have to worry about overcharging, just take away a single one

I have been using a 1500mAh Ni-Mh in my R-70 with great results. No real heat buildup it just takes several hours longer to charge. It's not the best way to charge a Ni-Mh as it has a slightly higher cell voltage than a Ni-Cad but works never the less. I get about 18 hours playback with i
