Hello,
You can connect a receiver and a transmitter to connect the cables. As
for Y configuration two transmitters can share a common digital signal
(Output to more than one transmitter). You cannot combine more than one
receiver (two receivers, one wire) without some sort of switch to choose
between the two. The mixed signal will not work on the Minidisc system. I
have used two receivers attached to a switch so I can choose which
digital device I wish to use. Just make sure there is a switch.
