Pretty sure the cookie is auto-logging you right back in. That's what the
cookie feature does. You can disable the cookie auth method in your hotspot.

I am positive I went to host/logout and it said log out. I then did a
Google search and it returned results instead of redirecting me.
Unfortunately the log was dominated by firewall rules and I have since
left the location. The log out feature isn't used very often (duh) so
it isn't urgent, but

We have a real puzzler on our hands. It's possible it was a hack, but
if there is another explanation we'd like to avoid that in the future.
We have a Mikrotik 5.8Ghz AP (411AH) serving 48 customers in a remote
area. At about 11:40pm Friday night, 22 of the 48 dropped offline. We

Why not logged out?
Perhaps you logged out but reloged in by the cookie again..

If I go to 192.168.1.1/logout the page says I am logged out but does
no such thing. I have to delete the cookie and active (user) on the
hotspot window to actually log out.
Anyone seen this? Any ideas where to look?

Well my old way of thinking of a null value of empty quotes
won't work with the comment field, but the ! ( I always called
bang from the old HP days ) symbol means unset which I would
think would mean not, but I guess it does mean 'not set'. So now
the script works, just reporting back.
