Text fairy is one more app you can check out for scanning. It has built in
OCR for many languages including Tamil, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Kanadda, and
Malyalam as far Indian languages are concerned.
The challenge
Yes taking proper photo is the biggest challenge in such apps.
I tried google goggle but couldn't do much.
yet you may try this app. it will work if you have little bit of vision.
