Hmmm...I do believe in the notion that a queue is a (very) special case
of a database. However, in this respect I think they are (very)
different. Relational tables typically have a formal structure that
constrains their content to the purposes for which they were designed.

I cannot help you for problems with z/OS, but I recommend:
- Search www.mqseries.net and post the question there.
- Try to get a ssl connection solaris-solaris working because it's
easier to get help and if it works, you know that the certificates are
ok.
