Listers,
I always thought that
when you created a destination list in WMQI it actually generated a WMQ
distribution list under the covers.
I am now questioning this
belief because I notice that when a WMQI destination list contains multiple
destination queues that reside on the same queu

We have scores of WMQ interfaces between Siebel and legacy systems. Siebel
has an EAI module that is used to put and get WMQ messages. The Siebel IT

details. I do know that there were quite a few limitations with Siebel
mand that makes you say your second sentence above.

Hello,
Hello,
Has
anyone ever seen this? We have a cluster that had been working fine until
we recently added a new fourth QMgr. Everything is

Cluster and somehow is removed from the cluster.
Thanks,

Krishan,
It is my understanding (and experience) that MQ does not guarantee that
messages will be delivered in the same order in which they were sent. There
are many possible reasons that the order may change (which other people have
just detailed in recent postings).

Hi Nguyen,
The simplest way to insure that messages are processed in a particular order
is to use message grouping. See the manuals for details.

Dan,
It sounds like you want the message to disappear from the face of the earth.
If you're using a filter node, simply don't wire the relevant output
terminal. We do this for certain applications here and it works fine (but
the auditors may not like it).

Hi Prits,
On the AS/400 you would use STRMQMMQSC. This command processes a file
containing the mqsc commands, so you must supply the details of that file as
parameters on this command (it automatically prompts you for them).
Since you are new to the AS/400, here is something handy. To see a lis
Hi Chad,
I have used the IFS to determine all the queue managers on the system,
however this method will return all of them, both active and inactive. I

We've never used this Support Pac before. I'd love to hear from those of
you that have used IA81. What were your experiences?
Thanks again,

Thanks for the info. I had been wondering whether or not WMQI

Jim,
We've occasionally had similar problems. When we do, we run a TCP/IP sniffer
over the line which usually tells us exactly what is going on and then we
can address it. You can also run an MQ comm trace on both sides to see what
is happening and why.
