Hi! There was a thread about this on the old mpd forum (that is no more). I use stickers for a few features in the client I work on (StoMpd), and did comply to the suggested standards from the forums back then.
But as far as I know there are no longer any centralized location for client developers to cooperate and share ideas and information. If anyone knows differently, please inform Jonathan and me. :) On 26. des. 2012 09:28, Jonathan Ballet wrote: > Hi, > > I'm currently working on the Sonata client [1] for MPD and recently got > interested to add something like a "Favorite" button to mark favorite > songs, which can be retrieved later, probably with something like a > dynamic playlist exposed by the client, built from the files marked as > such. > > Anyway, I was thinking that it was a good opportunity to start using > those sticker things that came with MPD 0.15. > The doc says [2]: > > Client developers should create a standard for common sticker names, > to ensure interoperability. > > I wonder if there is other use of stickers in other clients, and if > there is such place where I can find a standard? > > Thanks, > > Jonathan > > > [1]: https://github.com/multani/sonata/ > [2]: http://www.musicpd.org/doc/protocol/ch03s07.html > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > LogMeIn Rescue: Anywhere, Anytime Remote support for IT.
