Egor, I'm using the following:
Red Hat Linux release 7.0 (Guinness)
on a Pentium III 450 with 128 meg of Ram.
Are you thinking I may need to run an older version of Mysql?

Hey guys,
Still having this trouble with mysql.. Running the mysql_install_db renders
this...
Preparing db table
Preparing host table
Preparing user table
Preparing func table
Preparing tables_priv table
Preparing columns_priv table
Installing all prepared tables
At this point the script locks
t mysql rpms - from Redhat - from mysql.org to
no avail. There must be something simple I am overlooking - but I just
can't seem to see the trees through the forest.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
