With these settings you won't be able to run much over 500 processes
because each process will need at least 2 filehandles to run a query
and the master-daemon will use a few filedescriptors too. Try a
"u
to 1800 concurrent processes (maybe even
higher, but we had no more load ;-) and 1000 q/s.
