I found that the Intel C++ version needed some libraries which weren't on my
RH9.0 system (this was when upgrading to 4.1.4g):
libcprts.so.5
libcxa.so.5
libunwind.so.5
This seems to have been reported many times e.g.
http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=4408
