Turning it off in the global settings only changes it for new
recording schedules that you make. You have to disable it in each
previously existing recording as well. My understanding is that the
latest CVS has different text for that option, which makes this
clearer.

It seems that this takes up 30-45% of my cpu even when I'm not
recording. It is ran as root. Is it supposed to be running all of
the time and if not how do I get rid of it? I turned off commercial
flagging in mythfronend, but that didn't seem to do the trick.
Maybe fixing this will make it so
