Applixware seems pretty good but its $99. This is free. I was
surprised that this was a good as it is. Anyway people were saying it
is slow but seems to be not that bad. Not to bad with 64 mb of ram. I
haven't had it long enough to see how the compatibility with MS OFFICE

In the Linux-mandrake 5.3 release cd. there is a program called licq that
works with icq's servers. It's great.

anyone running Mandrake :-) Its a big download and the server seems slow,
but it does allow you to restart where you left off in the event you get
disconnected.

Yes I have the dns setup correct and I am connecting to the internet, I am very
knowlegable about computers since I have a computer consulting and sales business
and have built many computers, I am using a external US Robotics Courier V9- modem

I am trying to install mandrake on my old 2.1 gig Seagate drive. It gets to
certain parts and then just stalls out. I checked the Disk for a scratch or
something and nothing bad with the disk. If I choose Install all packages
It gets as far as the HOW-TO's and stalls out there. If I pick and ch

when you say 'work' what do you mean? If you are interested in email and web surfing
then yeah, go for it. If you want to run any kind of server definitely go for it. if
you want to learn and tinker, go for it.
But if you want to run office programs and games... probably not quite for you.
