That's the problem, Netscape is the major browser for Linux. The only other one
that most people would want to use is Mozilla (Netscape 6). Unfortunatly it's
in beta, so it's still pretty buggy. It does look promissing
though. Try it out at mozilla.org

wasn't just with version 7.0. 6.1 did the same thing. The way I got around
it was select "Expert Mode" all the way through the setup program. There is
a screen that says something to the effect "Other Questions" and there

You usually have to un-tar them. I usually use tar to unzip gz files, like
so:
tar -zxvf filename.tar.gz
then go into the dir it created and do your configure, make, make install,
make clean. I always read the readme file first though.

OUTDATED. I spent several days trying to do exactly what it said, trying to
recompile the kernel, reinstalling the whole system (mdk 6.1)..

The problem does not seem to have to do with how
many windows you have open as it has happened to me with only two open.
This does not seem to occur with the older versions so I am running 4.07 right
now and this has never manifested this problem

try changing
/dev/cdrom2
to
/dev/sc0
of have a look in hardware setup in darkconfig in x to find the correct scsi
device.
(mine is listed as cdrom's unknown scsi).
