again. As the install script is starting it will see that SO is already

It soiunds to me like you have installed some memory that the BIOS doesn't recognise
as 100MHz.
You may need to check in the BIOS to see if it will allows you to set the memory bus
speed manually.
OF COURSE... if your memory is really not 100MHz capable, you could ruin it.
