My computer only boots from floppies so I used the boot floppy from 7 to
boot the 7.2 CD. It seemed to work until I got to the Hard drive

me. Also, I noticed that it doesn't like the HierMenu program from

But in 7.2, I've had no luck. My sound card isn't even shown in HardDrake.

Your domain is not active until it propagates thru most DNS servers. Right
now I get nothing on your domain. I don't know how to set that up, sorry.

situation concerning LM7.2/KDE 2.0 Macmillain official version (
I have had a similar problem with LM 7.0. I could not re partition the drive
with msdos fdisk. What I learned was my partition table was corrupted. I
ended up using partition magic to restore the mbr. It is non destructive so
you dont have to lose any data already on your disk.

So, 7.2 betas 1 through 3 autodetected my Voodoo5 and configured it for
3d acceleration without any intervention on my part. I just installed
7.2 full and while it did detect my V5 I cannot get hard ware
acceleration to work. The Xlog file says this:

This must be normal for Logitech mice. Same happened to me. You're lucky
though. My Logitech First Mouse+ wasn't detected, and when I tried to select
it in DrakConf, it just kept reverting back to the default.

I've recently downloaded the 7.2 version of Mandrake and installed it. I
cant seem to find the kdevelop package. I had it on the 7.1 version, but
it's not on the 7.2.
