hasn't been overwrote with another file. I've even seen it recover files from
a defective drive. The retail price is ~$100.00, and well worth it.

I've found a clue. While the KDE session is opening in the Exceed window, a
small Klipper window will appear briefly. If I'm really fast and can kill
that little window before it closes itself, all is fine except that Klipper
doesn't work. (I don't care about that.) This is probably a bug.

After a fresh install of 7.2, I can't seem to access /~username/ webpages.
(I get a 'forbidden' message)
I've changed the /home/username and /home/username/public_html/
directories perms to 755 and the index.html file's perm is 644.

I am setting up a Mandrake 7.2 PC as a remote fileserver with no monitor.
When I try to display KDE on a WinNT station using Exceed 6.1, everything
initially looks OK but then the icons on the Panel menu disappear and the
Panel becomes unusable. The Desktop icons and the Desktop menu work fine.

activate them for use with Mandrake 7.1 however the posts had broken links
and so I was unable to get to the site where the file had been which allowed

Makes sense. The drives must be set up as something and scsi is well
supported.
A quick look through windows system propeties shows 'Iomega parallel port
zip interface' under SCSI controlers. Definatly scsi.

I'm fairly new to Mandrake, adjusting from having used RH for
several years.
Under RH and KDE, I'm very used to the X Windows cut and paste
feature (just select it with the mouse pointer, then press both
buttons on my MS mouse to paste it into another window, field,
etc.

I've installed LM 7.2 on my system, EVERYTHING WORKS except
LS-120 identified twice, once as a Floppy (/dev/hdc) then as a scsci
device ( /dev/sda). I am unable to mount it

Seems all Zips are technically SCSI. The parallel version uses a SCSI
emulation, probably the same case with USB.
