That may have worked under 7.1, which used inetd. It seems like 7.2
uses xinetd, which as far as I can tell, requires a different type of
configuration. The line you suggested was already uncommented. Any

There was a recent article on burners in a local computer rag that you pick
up free at grocery and computers stores. The Yamahas were the most highly
recommended followed by the Plextors. Of course the cost a little more too.

I had already tried the option stated below and that caused major problems.
It apparently was trying to replace settings for Grub with Lilo settings, and
basically produced a non-bootable drive. This only happened when you used
the "Boot" section to edit boot options ins
Nobody followed up, but I figured out my problem.
I was running MandrakeUpdate from an NFS mounted directory. If I move
do a local directory, like / and try run MandrakeUpdate it works. I
don't know why it matters as it doesn't seem to write anything to that
directory but it matters.

PHP4 is installed(rpm -q) but in the Apache-config file it's not adjusted and
