Do you have the kernel sources installed? You need them to compile the driver. Also, pctel-0.9.0.tar.gz is the current version of the driver. I'm using the pctel-0.8.6 driver with 8.2 without any problems. If you're going to compile the driver, you might as well get one of the two above. Th
