Anyone know why i wouldn't be able to get acroread to print?
Other programs print the same files with the same command. /usr/bin/lp, lpr, etc.
The only reason i wanna print from acroread is i have a screwed up pdf that only it
and xpdf can see. It's screwed up enough, though, that xpdf won't pr

in which case the is acting normally. (I know some
have only --help/-h switches instead of actual man pages.)

Thers is a file /etc/apt/vendors.list, you just backup and remove it so
apt can work properly.
But I can't use apt to install from src.rpm,for the rpm-src source sux.

showing any packages. As a mater a fact there are no sources to be

I'm using Mandrake 9.1 and I'm very happy with it, except that my sound
quality is poor. I have sound, but it's soft and crackly. I just
installed Redhat 9 on another partition and the sound works great.
Is there a way that I can use the sound driver from Redhat while running

I bought a new modem, PROLINK 1456 PVC (it is detected in 9.1 as
winmodem). I install it, it is said that cannot be installed. Please
someone can tell me which modem that is compatible with 9.1 or I go to a
