I am trying to set up 'local' mail on my Mandrake 9.2 box (i.e. mail between user accounts on the system and for notification of cron jobs running, etc. rather than Internet mail) but I can't seem to get it to work. the 'mail username...' command works but when I run 'mail' to read the mail I tried
