Win95 though.

Many many thanks. I will try.
And I hate Windows, but I have to do my work.
Any idea about the pppd unexpectedly dying in user?
It works fine in root.

Hi Adam,
It is recommended by the gurus that you don't upgrade your kernel
unless you have to. I did not listen, and ran into lots of problems.
1. The printer port disappeared (you have to find an answer to that
in the newsgroups).
2. Problems with pppd unexpectedly dying at Internet dialup

Hello!
I had the same problem. At the end all I did was I reinstalled all the
packages I downloaded from Mandrake and it worked. Get 2.2.5 from their
site. Beware of problems with printing, as the parralel ports must be
set manually. Read the parport.txt and lpd.text (or something like
that). If
Hi there,
I upgraded the kernel of my Mandrake 5.3 and KDE (from the Red Hat depository,
because Kreversi didn't work on 5.3, even after downloaded kdegames from
Mandrakeand installed that one). Since then Netscape plays midi files 10 times
faster no matter what plugins I use (Plugger 3 or UMP).
Hello guys,
I have only been using Linux for a year. This is what I did with RealPlayer.
1. copy all *.so files from /usr/lib/Real to /usr/lib/netscape/plugins.
2. open netscape, click on Edit-Preferences, open the Navigator
group and click on Applications. On the list go down, and the 3rd under
15 matches
