Hello all
For those of you who helped me with my memory stick problem, I think it's a
non-issue for now. I think my usb ports are dead. Which is not a bad thing since I
can justify buying a new pc now to my wife. :) This one is fairly old. But thanks
for your help, anyway.
My new task is

Hi, I saw the thread about USB mass storage devices, but I'm not sure if what I'm
talking about is the same thing, so I apologize if it is. I'purchased one of those
USB memory sticks (made by GE) and it works great for my laptop (WinXP; sorry, I need
to keep a Win machine for school) but I cann
Does anyone know if there are any linux drivers for this wireless optical mouse? The
mandrake site does not show GE as a manufacturer, much less the mouse. Is there some
other support for it? If not, has anyone tried Microsoft's wireless optical mouse
with Mandrake 9.1? If so, does it work?
Ok, I've finally got it up and running. I needed to reboot the computer for KDM to
show XFce4. (Was that in your directions? I apologize, if it was, since that means I
wasted your time.) But, I wanted to say thanks a lot for helping me out and creating
the rpms for XFce4.

Ok, I'm pretty sure I've got everything downloaded and installed, and I have the
executable file 19xfce4 where I'm supposed to. However, I still do not have XFce4 in
my kdm startup menu. Here's the kdmrc file's contents. Is there something wrong with
it?

Todd,
When I installed everything (I think) I did not get the above file (certainly not in
the above location anyway
Ok, Joe, if you're still up, I need your help. I downloaded the rpm packages for
xfce4-rc2 that Todd was kind enough to create and I have them all in a file called
xfce4-rc2 as per Todd's directions. The question is: what do I do now? Is there a
way to install all of the packages with one co
