usb-2.4.0-test2-pre2-for-2.2.16-v3.diff.gz
when I use the patch command in the terminal it says that it is not
a recognized command. Is thepatchcommand not a command in the
bash shell?

Or you can look in /var/log/message
There will be a few of these files covering your last few day of

You might check the computer bios and see if in the chipset features there is
a "Memory Hole At 15M Addr." or someting of that nature. If it is not disabled
Linux will only recognize a small portion of your ram. Another words DISABLE
the memory hole's address range of the ISA cycle.
Hope it helps
Ok, I changed the font to 100dpi and wow what an improvement.
I had to go to the /etc/X11/fs/config file with the advanced text editor and
switcheded everything that was 75 to 100 and all that was 100 to 75. Of course
you have to install the 100dpi fonts off the installation CD. Then I shut down
In Linux Mandrake 6.1 how do you change the font size from the default of
75dpi to 100dpi?

hoose the 800 X 600 and the 1024 X 786 at 24bit
I can switch between the two by clt alt + with no problems
I have no problem getting into console mode and running Xconfigurator.
But what do I need to do in order to make the 800 X 600 fit the screen?
Thanks in advance,

I have a Mustek 600 III EP Plus scanner. I don't know how to configure
it in Linux. Star Office says it need SANE in order to work. How do I
implement SANE? Or will this Scanner even work with Mandrake-Linux 6.0?
Its a parallel port scanner.

Thanks you for the help, I am now able to mount my HP8100 CDR/RW and use it
as a second CDROM. I very much appreciate your help.
The HP8100 is an IDE CDR/RW can I write to it or do I need special software?
Thanks again,
Ed Santiago

some files between Windows and Linux. I reconfigured my kernel to the
AMD K6 processor. I have played around with the thing but I can't seem
to mount my HP-8
