Like it says in the subject line I can't browse the 'net. Mandrake 8.2
dials out with my 33.6 modem and connects to my ISP but I can't browse using
Konq, Netscape, or Mozilla.
I have made all three users part of the PPP group but I am not sure where to
take it from here.

Sorry for the somewhat long post.
I have recently installed 8.1 on an AMD K6 2 450 w/256 MB RAM and an Eight
GB HDD The BIOS actaully shows the CPU as a K6 3D 400. I believe that I
have set the jumpers on the board correctly so I don't really understand
this.

I just replaced my Matrox Mystique video card with a Radeon.
As the subject line says it appears that a cople of instances of ALSA
aappears to try to be running.
Does anyone know the command line to cancel this or which file that I would
have to edit?
