Can someone tell me the difference between the 2.2.13-7mdk kernel and the 2.2.13-7mdk smp kernel I am asking because I cannot compile a driver for the smp kernel for my SB live sound card. My linux box is set up with the smp kernel and the emu10k1.o driver is compiled for the 2.2.13-7mdk kernel.
