In which directory is the Linux kernel compiled? I am tryin to give the
command 'make menuconfig' or 'make xconfig' in the directory /usr/src/linux
but it gave me an error:
no target to make menuconfig.

Sorry for not being explicit. What I was trying to say was the panel that
pops up when u click for example 'DrakConf' or the CD icons on the screen.
These things are just very tall that even if I hide the panel (the one that
u are referring to) i still can't
Compaq PC and the video card is integrated. It's a Trident Blade
3D/MVP4 and since I use the 'recommended' install it did the setting by
itself.
