[newbie] POP mail?

pop3d doesn't exist anywhere on my system and I'm wondering what IS on my Mandrake 6.0 system that I could use in its place, or maybe find out what module I didn't install to get that single utility. I've searched the whole system and nothing jumped out at me. Any thoughts?
