Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft?
Go to http://www.mandrakestore.com
This is the only problem I see with Linux. The fact that it is free to
download and try all the distro's you want. I have tried
Debian,RedHat,Storm(basically Debian) FreeBSD and MAndrake. I always end up
back at Mandrake. I really like the DrakConf feature as I am a windows
convert to Linux.
I found this today via the Mandrake site. They are online tutorials/classes
about running your Linux box with Mandrake.
www.mandrakecampus.com.
I have looked at the lessons and they are easy to follow and very informative
IMHO.

I am not sure if the default kernel in in 7.2 has ntfs support or not. I
recompiled one of my own and added ntfs support for this reason of mounting
a Win 2K part. I went to Linuxconf and selected "access local drive" then
created a mount point, in my case /min/win_C and then manually entered
I have recompiled a custom kernel more suitable to my machine and tastes and
all went well except the modules. I was not able to do "make modules" for the
new kernel. I am relly not sure of what exactly I need to do when it comes to
the modules. Do I need to remove the modules currently in /lib
