I found the same problem when I first tried Mandrake 7 (CD
free with OC Plus magazine), but I could not even
get past selecting the partitions. The only way I could continue was to install a PS/2 port and connect the mouse to it. That worked fine. I had previously tried RedHat 5.2 but none of my cheap PC's
hardware was compatible so I gave up then.
