I was able to ssh into the machine from itself. I downloaded PUTTY for my Win98 machine and was also able to login. I tried to use HyperTerminal to port 22 but it did not work. Telnet is not listed in the services. It was earlier, but was gone after I rebooted. It is not listed in /etc/init.
