[newbie] running a mud

Hi, Got a question for you all, anyone have any idea how to open another port, say port 4000 for a mud? My telnet server is up and running and everything is working fine on it. But it won't allow a connection to port 4000 ;( any suggestions would be very helpful Arron Want to buy your Pa
