I just installed Mandrake 9.1 on a spare box, with the security level
set to "higher." I can access it with ftp and http, but not ssh. I
have all the same config files as on my other Mandrake machines, and ssh

/dev/scd0 or visa-versa...
I am confused... urpmi was confused... in the end it hurt my head to much and i

when my friend built the computer, he said teh primary IDE connector on the
motherboard was bad. well, it's not. turned out he had been trying to hook
up a bad hard drive to it. so since then, everything has been running on the
2nd IDE port. the CDRW drive is the master,

I finally was able to change the default to windows, but it should have been
easier. First I opened MCC then selected the big boot icon, got a screen
which had a lilo configure button (been there, done that), then another
screen containing a drop down of boot devices. Nothing yet about a default
bo
