Anyone know what I can do about rpm drake? It still says "already
installed" even after I wiped out the whole system and put Mandrake 9 in
fresh. I tried the urpmi code given at the Mandrake Expert site but it
gave me an error, 'could not find cdrom8'.

Oh, one more question. How to I get off the network? My computer will
not shut down all the way. Say /net is busy.

Hi, How do I install - manually, a modem on Mandrake 9? It was
installed before. Its a crappy 28k. I tried to install two different
56k's but they were not 'seen' and suprisingly this isn't either. It's
given me a massive headache.
Also, about SAMBA - how do I set up username passwords again
