Hi Noah, I was having the same problem...it seems kscd wasn't creating a config file when it was started. What fixed it for me was to create kscdrc in .kde/share/config, start cd player, shut it down, and then edit it as Derek stated earlier. (be sure to check what device your cdrom is before
