Me newbie. Archives don't seem to be available, so pardon me if this is all old
territory.
Installed ML 9.1. Machine is HP A220n. Carries an Nvidia NForce chipset which
slices, dices, and washes your car when you're driving it home to work. In addition
to sound and video, it also does ethernet.
ML 9.1. Have external hard drive connected by firewire containing four partitions.
How do I mount these partitions in Linux?

seemed worth a shot. I got the 9.0 LM and installed it, after reformatting all the
Linux partitions. The installation program didn't install ethernet. After installing I
ran

I followed the link in your article and obtained the 9.1 driver. Reinstalled 9.1, the
rpm, and was able to configure the card without incident. Working fine now. We
may never know why I didn't find the 9.1 rpm when I went to the website. Now to
just get a few of these other things working
Have always had good luck with SMC products. As a newbie, I would check on the
web for support of any networking hardware under consideration.
