Well, Windows is unprefferable for me just because it's so unstable and not so powerful. But I'd say Windows 2000 with it's file system makes me glad. It's very powerful, but still resourse-hungry that makes me not glad. And W2000 supports DOS badly... + there are not so much drivers and programs

I can't install Linux Mandrake 7.0 on an Ultra66 (www.promise.com) drive. Linux becomes unable to find any hard drives. I can install it on my IDE onboard controller hard drive, but then it won't recognize my U66 drive. But I want to get it well! I want Linux to recognize and find anything. I want

Hi!   I have ony found a UDMA/66 Driver at promise.com for Linux RedHat. But how to make Linux Mandrake 7.0 recognizing my Ultra66 controller? And why doesn't W98 need to recognize it even without any drivers? The same at DOS. It needs nothing... W2000 has the UDMA/66 Driver, Linux doesn't.
