I've installed 7.1 of Mandrake on my system. I get the following at boot: ide: Assuming 33MHz system bus speed for PIO modes; override with idebus=xx My internal bus which the IDE uses will support 66 MHz. To /etc/lilo.conf I've added the line: append="idebus=66" to my first image sect
