I have obtained the GPL version of 7.1, but
have been unable to install it either under Windows or as a complete install on
an empty hard drive. The CD boots fine and the installation begins,
but once the second stage is reached it terminates unexpectedly; the only
error message I h
I have installed Mandrake 7.0 on several occaisions, each time having odd
problems - network not configured, mouse not found, X config failures etc.
This time, my newly acquired GPL 7.1 has sprung a double-whammy :
(1) hung on X config in the installation - a reboot started the system ok,
